He has released solo works under his own name and as Uxile

Commissioned works and contributions include collaborations with the Gewandhaus Leipzig and the Schauspielhaus Zürich.

Summer Festival, and at venues such as Berghain, Bauhaus, Gewandhaus Leipzig, Volksbühne Berlin, ICC Berlin, and Nikolaikirche, with shows across Europe as well as in Mexico and the USA.
He is co-founder of the Unguarded label and art platform, the Spydergum ensemble, and the NEST space for research & experimentation.
His work is as much about the people it draws together as the music itself,
always informed by encounters, interactions and the resulting introspection.

Vapours Unfold
Uxile
Vapours Unfold presents itself as an all-encompassing confluence between off-kilter post-club and electro-acoustic sensitivities. Oscillating between Berlin and Mexico, accumulated impressions from both locales are deftly composed and fully felt on this 8-track LP — Hülsenbeck's debut album under the Uxile moniker and his most electronic release to date. Premiered live at Berghain for CTM Festival in February 2024.

Reaping From The Conflux
Philipp Hülsenbeck & Michael Schönheit
Philipp Hülsenbeck and Michael Schönheit entered their collaborative space, the Great Hall of Gewandhaus Leipzig, in spring 2019, to explore the sonic potential of the Schuke organ juxtaposed with unrestrained electronic synthesis and otherworldly digital processing. Condensed in a synergy of opposing musical aesthetics, teetering between acoustic instrumentation and digital manipulation — a push and pull between discordance and tranquility. Hülsenbeck and Schönheit created a dense work shifting from sombre to celestial, leaving enough space in the room to allow sound to breathe.
A commissioned work of Gewandhaus Leipzig.

Garden Of Stone
Philipp Hülsenbeck
At first glance »Garden Of Stone«, the inaugural solo record by Philipp Hülsenbeck, seems to ripple serpentine. Scales over flesh topple softly as a snake piles high in the dim. A texture nearly like an overcoat, a shape almost like a huddled body. Almost, until Hülsenbeck's hand beckons you into the reality that this is no snake, this is P.A. himself. »Garden Of Stone« is a molt, a shedding of one old thing to reveal something new.

No Pare, Sigue, Sigue
V.A. TraTraTrax
From TraTraTrax Bandcamp:
"no pare, sigue sigue" our annual and favorite popurrí is back. If you remember what we did in 2022, you will know that there is not much to explain here. It is pure boom boom boom, 18 explosive cuts, club-ready, certified-bang-bangs, at different tempos and rhythmic structures but with one thing in common: hi-tech design, lots of sonic adventures by new and old acquaintances de la casa.
There is something for everyone here: cult legends like Siete Catorce, 3Phaz, Doctor Jeep or Maoupa Mazzocchetti share the lineup with exciting new talents like Surusinghe, Entrañas, Atrice or WOST.
All NRG programmed by sound designers from Latino América, África and Europa.

Re/Dis Tribute
The Ring Orchestra
The Ring Orchestra is an eight-person effort, a collective coming together to tackle opera and one of the genre's controversial poster boys.
18 compositions, the artists Born in Flamez, Gil Schneider, Simonne Jones, Leo Luchini, Legion Seven, P.A. Hülsenbeck, Isa GT, and Ixa create a collaborative musical score that uses Richard Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen as the point of departure.
Originally, the music was created for a staging of Der Ring des Nibelungen at Schauspielhaus Zürich, directed by Christopher Rüping and written by Necati Öziri.
Far from being an affirmative tribute, the orchestra sets out to deconstruct and break down what Wagner and his opus magnum represent: collaboration over singularity and openness instead of conservative rigidity. The resulting score doesn't shy away from ambivalence by decentralizing authorship and encompassing everything from ambient to pop, reggaeton, and a wider variety of non-western musical influences.
